Sorry. Had one hell of a night. Hung out at a new sublevel lounge in Tribeca with a crew of Angel’s Share bar-chefs.

You said you were going out for a quick nightcap.

Well, the lighting was low, the booths were spacious, and the jazz was swingin’. Must have had six Moment’s Notice cocktails (sake, peach liqueur, plum wine). Not too sweet. Just the right note.

La-la-a-a-o-ouch. Thought everything would be fine this morning because there was plenty to eat: little neck clams with anchovy butter and truffle oil; tuna, salmon, and scallop ceviche; raw oysters; avocado tofu parfait with soy sauce foam. Still …
