The Science Barge
What: Have you been, yet? Nonprofit New York Sun Works built a sustainable urban farm powered by solar and wind, and irrigated by rainwater and purified river water. And they’re giving tours.
Why: Systems like this already in place in Shanghai and Havana. Next up, school rooftop farms.
