It’s the 30th anniversary of Milton Glaser’s I (Heart) NY logo. Talk about an iconic weekend.
PRETEND
DRV-IN
What: Watch 40 years of film (L’Avventura, The Graduate, Dr. Strangelove) from the comfort of a ’65 Ford Falcon convertible parked inside (though it looks like outside).
Why: Book the car for you and five friends, pop some corn, and hit the backseat.

What: Artist Aaron Young unleashed ten motorcyclists on 9,216 square feet of black floor to burn through layers of fluorescent colors underneath in a large-scale effort inspired by a Jackson Pollock canvas.
Why: This is painting in action.

What: A new free public gathering (just in from Australia) featuring seven-minute films that feature a “signature item” (this year, it’s “slice”).
Why: Seven minutes in heaven? It’s a slice of life.
When: Sun. Bands at 5 p.m.; films at 8 p.m.
Where: World Financial Center Plaza, Battery Park, W. St., at Vesey St.

Lady Liberty Ride and Afterparty
What: Biker chick block party with classic rock, a Harley raffle, Dinosaur BBQ, and plenty of grease.
Why: You look great in leather. (And proceeds benefit at-risk youth.)
When: Sun., 9 a.m. for those who want to ride to Bear Mountain; 1 p.m. for those who want to block party.
