Eairth to Shoppers

Eairth by Melissa Dizon

greetings, eairthlings!

In the not-too-distant future, in a galaxy far, far away, bionic she-bots wear jumpsuits made of Kevlar.

You book a seat on Virgin Galactic’s Spaceport. Stat.

In the meantime, come back down to Eairth, a collection of sleep-inspired ready-to-wear.

Designer Melissa Dizon uses only natural fibers, like 100 percent organic cotton jersey that’s dyed by hand with tree bark and spices like turmeric and cardamom, then hand-stitched and hand-embroidered in Dizon’s native Philippines.

Obsess over the slim-cut, shortened thermal pants. The yoke under the belt line is punctuated with three little buttons. (We think they’re likely to become the pants de resistance during rain boot weather.)

Smartly cut T-shirts like the Mummy wrap and comfy oversize hoodies are chic and androgynous and work for all shapes and sizes. They can even be found in both the guys’ and girls’ sections at the store.

Pretty out of this world.

Available at Steven Alan, 103 Franklin Street, at Church Street (212-343-0692).
