Hear It Roar
Disaya’s Jewelry Collection

Open your eyes, take a deep breath in through the nose.
There. It’s spring.
Let the others hibernate with tired accessories. You’re emerging with Boudoir by Disaya.
Disaya Prakobsantisukh, the Central Saint Martins designer (who hit university headlines with a baby doll dress made of stuffed animals) has a fresh (sinfully glitzy extreme) jewelry collection.
Big typographic bangles in pastel pink, yellow, and green sparkle with messages like “Eat me!” Elsewhere in the jewelry box circus creatures abound: a shimmering lion head pendant, a necklace of penguins, and a gigantic glimmering teddy bear charm with movable appendages and a tuxedo vest.
The bedazzled critters are constructed with crystals, enamel, and gold/silver plates. She once worked for John Galliano, so she doesn’t shy away from whimsy.
And her accessories make for friends in fair weather.
