A Case of Sugar
SugarliciousNY

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, ponder who’s to blame for said SugarliciousNY addiction.
Yes, the new online Brooklyn-based bakery is delicious, what with its offerings of homemade scone mixes, cookies, and decadent brownies.
But when you’re deliberatin’ and calculatin’ — remember — there is no subjugatin’. If you can’t stop thinking about all-natural oatmeal, peanut butter, chocolate chip, or candied ginger treats, that’s your own fault.
Sure, Merin Frazier (who trained at ICE and Le Bernardin) uses the freshest ingredients — but to accuse her of harboring junkies? Why, that’s preposterous! Monstrous!
How about ambitious? Whip up a batch of scones at home. Nutritious? Try oil free, trans-fats free, and preservative free; hand mixed, hand shaped, and hand cut; without artificial flavors, colors, or sulfites.
If it’s ambitious, and nutritious, and delicious, then choosing SugarliciousNY is auspicious and judicious.
In any case, if your pants don’t fit, you must acquit.
The defense rests.
