Insanely Buzzed

Gimme! Coffee Opens

We don’t want to put words in your mouth. But Gimme! Coffee is the best damned caffeine buzz you’ve had in ages.

The Ithaca-based, Brooklyn-brewed NYC outpost just opened on Mott Street and is serving
artisanal coffee and espresso drinks with a well-deserved exclamation point.

We’ve been hooked on the Lorimer stop location for ages, gulping creamy organic lattes (with foam leaves, hearts, and swirls), Americanos, and Balthazar croissants (we hope for savory treat options at the Manhattan location). We’ve waxed poetic for hours on end about those tatted-up baristas carving our java-induced path to enlightenment.

From bean to cup, the floral notes, the dedication to sustainability, the nuances in the crema, the level of skill in each pull and twist of the steamer is almost too much to bear.

The demitasse cup filleth over.
