You: Wait — they’re styling outfits, selecting accessories, even picking out beauty products. There’s a private fitting room and special discounts at the register. It’s so energizing! But they still booked a car service for the ride home.

You: Maybe. There’s an outline of Mom — we could use the bonding. Maybe my brother — they work with guys, too. And my roommate. They’re helping her select party decorations. Oh, no, they’re leaving! Separation anxiety is coming on.
