Guess Who’s Coming to Party
Dedicated E-mail: Canada Tourism

With Cat Lady across the way and Cheese Guy down the hall, hanging with your neighbors doesn’t figure into your social calendar.
Until now.
Your friendly uptown neighbors (a.k.a. the Canadian Tourism Commission) cordially invite you (and 120 of their closest friends) to the swank Canadian Room-with-a-View event held May 15 at one of Manhattan’s most coveted spots: the 620 Loft and Garden at Rockefeller Center. (How did Canada know this place existed when you didn’t?)
Space is limited, but mention DailyCandy at the door for line-cutting privledges and a VIP treatment.
While admiring the manicured lawns, reflecting pool, and breathtaking views of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, you’ll be fawned over for a uniquely Canadian experience: cooking demonstrations from Ottawa’s Le Cordon Bleu, tasty Niagara wine, spa treatments from Alberta’s finest, interactive art courtesy of Toronto, and entertainment by a Montreal DJ and the Chris Norman Trio.
Just to make sure you’re not left wanting more, there are gambling lessons, an outdoor lounge serving Canadian specialty drinks, and the chance to win a lavish trip to visit the Canucks’ home turf in person.
After all, it’s the neighborly thing to do.
Canadian Room-with-a-View event, Thursday, 6-9 p.m., at Rockefeller Center’s 620 Loft & Garden, 620 Fifth Avenue, entrance on 50th Street.
