High Frequencies

Frequencies Wallpaper by Jill Malek

off the wall!

Gawd! Talking to you is like talking to a wall.

In a good way. Just like a wall covered in Frequencies wallpaper, you’re endlessly compelling and complex.

Creator Jill Malek replaces the need for flea market paintings/crap you find on the street to hang on your walls. In her Cobble Hill studio, graphic and interior design get chummy as light-reflecting metallics and hand-screened patterns in tone-on-tone hues create a sense of movement, rhythm, and depth.

For accent walls or entire rooms, elegant irony manifests in patterns like Maidenhair (ginkgo leaves evoke weightless falling); Flux (birds inspired by a mysterious pigeon-training neighbor); Resurrection (floral motifs reminiscent of vintage chandeliers); Stampede (interlocking horses); and the artist’s favorite, Sleeping Briar Rose (inspired by a fairy-tale prince wading through enchanted forest brush).

That’s Jill Malek’s brand of wallflower: always grabbing attention.

In a good way, of course.
