Rubie Green Textiles

hot on her trail!

Wanted: The Notorious Rubie Green

Crimes: smuggling stylish textiles into the sustainable marketplace; bypassing the trade to bring funky patterns straight to the people (by the yard no less!).

Known accomplices: former Domino market assistant and clever designer Michelle Adams.

Trademarks: Ms. Green uses only 100 percent certified organic cotton, whitened with peroxide instead of bleach, printed with water-based inks, finished with heat and pressure instead of chemicals. Popular disguises include fresh takes on vintage styles. (See: pineapple-stamped, pink chevron, and grandma-chic floral prints.)

Last known whereabouts: Green’s ecofriendly trail was traced to a 350-square-foot apartment on the UES, but a new e-commerce site has left the possibilities for travel wide open.

Help us capture her once and for all!
