MARVEL
The Grand Chrono’nauts Tea
What: Heard of Steampunk? The sci-fi version of the Victorian era comes to life (think Jules Verne-inspired trinkets and top hats with petticoats) at the Brooklyn Indie Market.
Why: It’s the glam, nonspooky version of Goth: Edwardian cupcakes, tarot readings, and old-fashioned photo booths.
When: Sat., 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Fashion show at 2 p.m.

GOBBLE
Almond
What: One of the few good Hamptons restos opens a very neighborhoody outpost in NYC.
Why: We’re nuts about the short ribs. And the pool table in back.

What: Orson Welles’s eyewitness report reimagined along with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s scientific exploration of a prehistoric kingdom in the Amazon.
Why: It’s the end of the world as we know it.
