Beyond 7 Retail Concept from Showroom Seven

Opening a boutique right now is like playing a game of craps.

Karen Erickson is taking the gamble.

The Showroom Seven/Seventh House PR matriarch has had quite a run with her lucky number, and she’s betting to win with new retail concept Beyond 7.

Located in way West Chelsea’s Terminal Warehouse building, the drop-dead corner space has wide wood planks, brick walls, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Conversation-starting party dresses, pricey motorcycle jackets, and truly fashion-forward offerings from Elise Overland, Andy & Debb, Sunjoo Moon, and VPL hang like artwork on Lucite bars suspended from the ceiling.

Wild Erickson Beamon chandeliers are available for order, as are vintage guitars and furniture. There are plans to host a dance recital inside (with sidewalk seating). And curiously, they’re now taking appointments for astrology and psychic readings.

Do they see Beyond 7 in your future?
