Okay, now, before you go getting all excited, be forewarned: The new Maison Georgette matching duvet covers and wallpaper at Illico Design aren’t for everyone. For one thing, the gorgeous hand-screened floral patterns — available in three color combinations (orange/pink, bronze/chocolate, and beige/yellow) — are definitely on the girlie side. So you may come up against some testosterone-driven resistance. For another thing, this sort of high-level pattern coordination doesn’t come cheap: The duvet cover is a steep $295, and a single wallpaper panel goes for $120. In fact, we might suggest putting up a single strip of the stuff; a whole room might be overkill. Because there is such a thing as matching things too much.
