Whew. You made it to the airport. Bags packed in two minutes flat. Ticket, er, somewhere around here. Toothbrush, sunscreen, photo ID? Check.

Then, right at security, it hits you. Pedicure? Bikini wax? Ooops.

Airport spas to the rescue. Delayed? All the better! A tour of the best, newest, and surprisingly most affordable airborne oases:

Pop into one of d-Parture Spa’s two locations at Newark International for a quick pick-me-up or a the facial-wax-massage works. Just don’t miss your flight.

Airplane air sucks. Soothe your lungs at OraOxygen’s Oxygen Lounge in Detroit Wayne County International. Or calm pre-flight jitters with a hot-stone massage and a long shower.

Have the Anti-Jet Lag facial at Vancouver’s Absolute Spa or, if pressed, a head-and-neck massage (only $15). Go to the bigger of the two locations at the U.S. departure gates.

JFK finally gets on board next month when the Oasis Day Spa opens at the JetBlue terminal. Choose their Muscle Meltdown massage or a last-minute Brazilian. Flight times are coordinated with the spa’s computer, so you’ll know about any delays.
