Coexist Tees
We hate to be a downer. But some stuff just sucks.
Poverty, disease, war. It’s enough to make you want to not read the paper ever again.
Good news is on the way. Coexist is a new line of tees created by four college pals who believe in the power of community, tolerance, and art. These super-comfy, slim-fit shirts are adorned with designs inspired by global messages — in the hopes that they will inspire us to all just get along.
Now, before you trot out your cynicism, consider the lot. For the ladies, we’re particularly fond of the maize yellow tee with a windblown dandelion (spreading seeds of change?). For you dudes, we like the weeping woman line drawing, whose hair is willow tree branches.
And, yes, Coexist practices what it preaches. This summer they gave 100 percent of proceeds from their Super Saturday sale in the Hamptons to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
Proof that having fun doesn’t have to mean turning a blind eye.
