Despite its appearance on every bag, tee, and must-have summer accessory, to you, tie-dye remains the exclusive uniform of summer campers and Phish devotees.

Suspend your judgment just long enough to slip on Mina Stone’s hand-dyed Cassi tunic dress. The navy-and-cream silk stunner’s flattering boatneck and rippling sleeves transform the hippie staple into an unexpectedly sophisticated, lightweight frock.

Inspired by familial ties (a Greek mother and Grecophile father) and her own experience overseas (she recently spent a year in Athens and Aegina), designer and Pratt alum Asimina Stone crafted a collection in which fluidity, color, and loose cuts evoke coastal simplicity.    

Additional standouts include the pocketed Pelagia dress with a cinched waist and the upper-back-baring Cato tunic. Boundary pushers should feel free to throw on a bandeau under the black Velum jumpsuit with adjustable shoulder ties.

Strappy heels easily complement any of the above, though we prefer to pay homage in gladiators.
