SOAR
Fly City
What: Fly School Circus Arts and Philadelphia School of Circus Arts show you how to tackle basic trapeze skills with the greatest of ease.
Why: Perfect the tricky catch and you’ll have something to fall back on (literally) if your day job doesn’t work out.

SNACK
Wolfgang Puck Catering’s Creperie Cart
What: Take a break from the action for a pancake stuffed with your choice of sweet or savory fillings (brandied cherries, apricot preserves, farmer cheese).
Why: Rumor has it executive chef Chris Stevens counts chocolate ganache and Tahitian vanilla whipped cream as his favorites. We couldn’t agree more.

A Night at the Movies
What: Youngsters from Independent Rock provide a sound track to silent films.
Why: Afterward, the band backs Martha Graham Cracker’s hilarious drag show with a modern interpretation of Cole Porter tunes.

Street Fair
What: Broad Street does its best Champs-Élysées impression with sidewalk performers, human fountains, and a giant Ferris wheel.

CHATTER
French in Ten Minutes
What: Alliance Française de Philadelphie teaches easy conversational phrases with a daily rotating theme.
Why: Impress the barista you’ve been eyeing by ordering your croissant with a Gallic lilt.
