Secret Cinema at the Cemetery

What: Nestle a beach chair among the tombs for a showing of campy masterpiece Plan 9 from Outer Space and footage of a grave exhumation.
Why: On Friday the 13th? Spooky.

South Philly Summer Fest

What: Sweet Jane Vintage and Lucky 13 Pub throw a free block party with bands (Far-Out Fangtooth, The Shakes), DJs spinning vinyl, and booze.
Why: You don’t need an excuse for all-day revelry.

Where: Passyunk Ave., at S. 13th St.

Eraserhood Forever
What: Artists exhibit work inspired by Eraserhead; rockabilly music, a reading, and other acts follow.
Why: David Lynch’s classic was filmed on home turf.
When: Fri. Art show, 6:30-8:30 p.m.; performances, 8:30-11:30 p.m.
