A “Top Chef” winner wows us again

This little piggy snacked on kale chips and rice cakes. This little piggy’s belly longed for more.

Then she spotted The Fat Ham.

When guests at his namesake restaurant repeatedly asked for the off-menu country-fried lobster, Kevin Sbraga knew he was onto something. His latest dining destination is a pork-centric celebration of Southern grub. To brush up on knowledge, Sbraga trekked below the Mason-Dixon line, gobbling biscuits and collard greens along the way.

All that research led to dishes such as mac ’n’ cheese with potato chip crust. But since even Scarlett O’Hara couldn’t keep her figure while wolfing bacon, Sbraga appeases with lighter options. Offset banana pudding donuts with benne seed-topped mustard greens.

And cry whee whee whee all the way home.
