Recipe for Success

A place where everybody knows your name is fine.

But a place where you know the food is great, the draught lines are clean, and you don’t need to battle the village drunks to get served? You’d give up your local for that.

Welcome to Iron Hill Brewery’s newest location, opening today in Phoenixville.

They still serve the same home brews, but have added hearty comfort food like Tex-Mex egg rolls and Lejon pizza, as well as daily North Atlantic salmon specials, courtesy of chef Steve Ciampaglia (of Iron Hill in Media, and the Main Street Restaurant Group).

The new spot has a mahogany bar, outdoor seating, and a 48-foot mural created by internationally acclaimed artist Jeff Schaller. Stop in for the monthly beer pairing dinner — a two-course menu that explores regional and seasonal tastes and Iron Hill’s handcrafted beers — or on Sunday for a prime rib dinner.

One more reason to avoid your local tavern.

As if that village idiot weren’t reason enough.
