Sure, you think a video of you and a certain someone playing doctor in a hotel room in Atlantic City is “arty.”

But investing in work by a real artist will not only impress friends (instead of freak them out) — it’ll help the community.

InLiquid v. 6.0 is holding an auction and benefit tomorrow featuring the work of emerging to renowned talents — like Nathan Haenlein, Jennifer Lipman, and Matt Curtius and Gina Triplett. With every piece you purchase, you’ll be helping to support InLiquid and disadvantaged youth.

Snacks to sustain the bidding will be provided by The Happy Rooster, Konak, Rx, and Las Cazuelas. Yards Brewing Company will supply the beer; Star Cellars and Japan Prestige Sake Association will host the sake tasting. DJ Andrew Jeffrey Wright will spin.

Showing up at the event will make you look at art in a whole new light.

Rather than just at the flickering blue one.
