Modern Esque

Esque Studio Kitchenware

glassy!

Fancy-schmancy matching china isn’t your thing. (Consider it retaliation against all of granny’s mad-hatter Greenwich tea parties.)

Luckily, the folks at Esque Studio — a Portland-based glassware company — had you in mind when creating their line of off-center-yet-beautiful vases, glasses, and decanters.

Some out-of-the-box creations include beer bottles reincarnated as green bud vases (for a unique way to show off a single flower). Other noteworthy vase forms include the Antler, the Bird of Flight, and the red Energy Dome.

Barware, like the Dent pitcher and cups, is delightfully askew and will complement any strategically mismatched kitchen. And despite looking like they may fall over at any minute, the asymmetrical decanter and cup are perfectly stable.

Shame you can’t say the same for granny.
