Mociun Spring Collection

get in mociun!

Appearing too put together is a double-edged sword. You either look like you stepped out of a Talbots catalogue or like you keep an anorexic stylist in your cupboard.

So try something else: Mociun’s spring collection, by Brooklyn-based designer Caitlin Mociun, has that matches-nothing-and-everything look that always makes you look put together, in a charmingly haphazard way.

Her heavy brown denim parachute dress with a raven print is short enough to be cute but not so much that you’ll accidentally flash your goodies a la random pop star. The printed tights in subdued colors go well with just about anything. A lightweight, short sleeve pleat-front blouse is perfect to top off jeans or something dressier.

And not a pair of giant sunglasses or amphetamines in sight.

Available at Vagabond, 37 North Third Street (267-671-0737 or vagabondboutique.com). To see styles, go to mociun.com.
