Once upon a time, there was a coffee-loving man named Said Ould-Khaoua.
He toiled away at the beloved La Colombe for twelve years, slowly working his way up the ranks and dreaming of opening his own cafe all the while.
One day, his fairy godmothers (also known as investors) organized to buy him a shop of his own.
And so here is where our story really begins: Today, Ould-Khaoua’s La Citadelle opens. The sunny, historic corner space has floor-to-ceiling windows that create a relaxing atmosphere. Our favorite dishes include the light tuna salad sandwich and mozzarella basil panini.
The joe’s not bad, either. Special blends are standard fare, and Ould-Khaoua’s always on hand to steam milk, grind beans, and, of course, make one hell of a latte. Which makes it the perfect place to get your daily caffeine fix.
So you can live happily ever after.
