Higher Ground

Amy Woodruff Hair-Hat-Roach Clips

clip it on!

In a world where millinery and getting high have absolutely nothing in common with hair, one woman was faced with a great design challenge. (Albeit a completely self-imposed one.)

Amy Woodruff, an Eagle Rock, California-based designer, thus invented her hair-hat-roach clip, and in one ingenious fell swoop, solved an age-old problem (albeit one nobody had ever before contemplated).

The leathery, feathery accessory can be clipped to hair, hat, or whatever you please. Attach it close to the scalp and let the leather strands dangle among your locks. Or go full-on boho urban cowboy by attaching it to a leather hat.

Of course, it also works well as, um, a roach clip.

That’ll take your accessorizing to a higher level.
