Book ’Em

Marvin Gaye said it best: We’re all sensitive people.

Beneath your gruff exterior (“I ordered a soy latte, douchebag”) beats a fragile heart (“I just want love!”).

Need some help getting in touch with your deeper nature? Try writing in a journal that’s as singular as you. South Philadelphia-based Hobo Arona Papers’s journals are handmade from vintage and antique books, so each is as individual as the thoughts you’ll commit to it.

Made from perfectly aged book covers and filled with blank paper, some date as far back as the 1800s and may even have their original library cards. All are absolutely one of a kind and made of 90 percent recycled paper (again, that whole sensitive side of things kicking in).

Given just how unique they are, you can feel free to judge these books by their covers.

Even as you discourage other people from judging you by yours.
