Somehow, the word relaxed became synonymous in fashion parlance with ill-fitting (relaxed-fit jeans), unflattering (sweatpants), outmoded (Uggs), and just plain ugly (again, relaxed-fit jeans).

No longer.

Clione — an L.A.-based line of vests, tops, jackets, and dresses — has just come out with a season’s worth of comfortable, easy-to-wear clothes that easily reverses the unfortunate trend.

The line’s inspiration was simplicity injected with a shot of sexiness, and its effectiveness comes from the drape of unexpected materials like washed satins, soft Lurex, chiffons, and foil. Check out the dark gray kimono with large eyelet details, black bubble-look tunic, and gray batwing-sleeve top.

So looking comfy no longer requires committing a sartorial crime. Which is good.
