Tete-a-Tete

Laurentius Salon Opens

so chic!

Somewhere between the mom helmet and the blue fauxhawk lies the perfect haircut: edgy enough but not over the top.

Where to find this elusive quarry? The Italian Market.

The historic neighborhood is now home to Laurentius Purnama’s new three-story, glass-enclosed, totally modern salon that opens today.

Purnama’s credentials speak for themselves: He’s done a variety of editorial work, cut the locks of Maggie Gyllenhaal, and worked at Garren New York. Now he’s settled in his own salon with the goal of making Philadelphia beautiful one head at a time, offering a mix of traditional cuts, cutting-edge looks, and everything in between.

So you’re sure to find your sweet spot.

Laurentius Salon, 815 Christian Street (215-238-0764 or laurentiussalon.com).
