G Lounge Opens

You did Rouge, swam through crowds at Walnut Room, got groped at the Mansion. Is Rittenhouse the new Old City?

Let’s hope not.

Tonight, check out G, a new lounge (and not, the owners insist, a club) with an upscale atmosphere for those tired of the same old.

The sound system won’t blow your eardrums, the DJs won’t suck, and the decor is interesting (to say the least: international style meets post-modern meets ’30s bank vault). The cocktail list is long and the snacks are snacky.

If you’re an elected official or a professional athlete (or just gave one a blow job), you might get one of a few keys to the Mogul Room, a private space with swipe cards that open a door to a land of magic.

Don’t expect to get in there.

Just be happy you finally found your G.
