Summer Trippin': Where to go and what to do from coast to coast

Next Stop: Ecoville

Away@Arcadia

go, go, green!

Last summer’s trip to the shore was fun. Aside from the hypodermic needles.

Okay, in all fairness the shore isn’t (quite) the dump it once was. But it ain’t no green hotspot either. So where to go for sun and ecofriendly fun?

To Arcadia Boutique for the Away@Arcadia travel service, which launches February 1. On-site travel consultants will hook you (and your green, do-gooder travel buddies) up with the enviro-friendliest spots, with everything from travel literature to custom-designed green getaways. In conjunction with green company Aventouras, they’re currently booking group trips to Central and Latin America, including an ecoadventure in Costa Rica.

Who says you’re not doing your part for global warming? One carbon neutral footprint at a time.

Available at Arcadia Boutique, 819 North Second Street (215-667-8099 or arcadiaboutique.com).
