Warm Hands, Warm Heart

Walking down the street freezing, you catch sight of a lone, lost glove. Immediately, you’re all Damn, that person is going to be so upset when she goes to put her gloves on.

That is, if you still have a heart.

And if you do, you’ll be thrilled to know about OneColdHand.com, a Pittsburgh-based website dedicated to reuniting found gloves and distressed owners. Jennifer Gooch started the site in November after collecting several errant gloves.

So far, she’s had just ten reunions, but when she runs across a match to a glove she already has in stock, they’re paired and donated to charity. Sadly, only Pittsburghers can mail in stray gloves to be reunited.

But knowing that people still care about each other should warm your heart.

Even if your left hand is freezing.
