Monster Mash

Daily Monster

There are so many boring things in the world. Fortunately, you have us.

And now you have Daily Monster.

The brainchild of German-born, California-based artist Stefan G. Bucher, the blog features streaming videos of Bucher speed-drawing a different being right before your eyes. It’s so fun to watch, it’s like crack without the tooth decay.

Bucher’s delightful beasts start as splotches of ink on paper. Then he transforms them — with markers, pencil, and a lot of envy-inducing creativity — into a bird, a creature, or some other bizarre figment.

Scroll the page until you see the video archive, click, and prepare to be amazed. Again and again.

Next to us, it’s the best thing that’s going to happen at your desk all day.
