Karma Loop
Good Karma Cafe

You without coffee in the morning is a scary sight. So finding out your local Wawa was closing sent you into a serious tailspin.
But at the recently opened Good Karma Cafe, you’ll have your fix in no time.
The coffee is fair trade, the cream’s from Lancaster, and the sweets are from local vendors like Betty’s Buttons and North Port Fishington Cookie Factory. In April, they’ll roll out a line of Chakra Tonics. Think Red Bull for the health conscious: potions chockful of ginkgo, bee pollen, and ginseng that help balance your heart, mind, or whatever else is out of whack.
Built with ecofriendly materials (such as limestone and recycled tires), the cafe is a little green oasis in the middle of the city.
And that’s better than Wawa had to offer.
Good Karma Cafe, 331 South 22nd Street (215-546-1479 or thegoodkarmacafe.com).
