To your rescue: local designer Sheila Frank. Her new line of swimsuits just may change your feelings about finding suitable beachwear.

The recent Moore College of Art & Design grad draws inspiration from the curvy pinups of the ’40s and ’50s, so her designs look great on different body types. These suits are hot but don’t bare it all. And each style for summer ’08 comes in animal prints or solids.

The SugarBitch is a modest yet sexy boy-cut maillot with princess seam detailing. Racier types may want to give the Starlet a whirl; with cutouts and a detachable skirt, it’ll have those sailors swooning in your wake.
