Chris Scarduzio and Georges Perrier have done it again.
Their Table 31 is three stories decorated in deep brown, burnt orange, ruby red, and taupe — for a relaxing yet haute atmosphere and a don’t-overwhelm-me-after-work vibe.
Start with a Smoking Manhattan (tobacco-infused bourbon) in the ground-floor bar with ceilings that reach the second floor, followed by wagyu steak tartare in the casual dining room. Late-night partying and people watching happens in the upstairs lounge overlooking the bar.
For dinner (peppered Peking duck, braised short ribs), head to the intimate dining room around a corner from the lounge. Further back, a private room seats fourteen and has great views of Arch Street and an HD flat-screen. The third floor banquet space is great for a large reception.
No, it’s not a maze. But it is amazing.
