Sweet Peas
Sweet Pea Nourishment

You know by now that eating locally is better for you and the environment. (Honestly, chemically engineered asparagus in January?)
To help you get with the program is Liz Solms of Sweet Pea Nourishment. Gather some friends and she’ll come to your house to teach you about seasonal eating, sourcing local produce, and where and how to purchase everything from local cheese to sustainable fish.
Then she’ll cook for you — and it will be delicious. Arugula and nasturtium (edible flowers) salad with homemade yogurt cheese. Crostini with local honey and goat cheese. Whole grilled Atlantic rockfish with lemon and early fennel.
She’ll leave you with the address of a farmers market or CSA in your neighborhood so you can keep up your healthy habit.
And kick the not-so-healthy ones.
