Kung Fu Necktie Opens

New York is always trying to steal our indie cred.

And now that Kung Fu Necktie is open, Philly is ready to settle the score.

The former Penalty Box has turned into Fishtown’s newest watering hole. With exposed brick; spacious booths; and kung fu, horror, and skateboard videos on the flat-screen, it’s sure to be a favorite place to tie one on.

Eventually, the upstairs will house a gallery for local artists. Also coming soon: a lineup of bands that may give JB’s a run for its money. We’ve also heard that the men’s shitter is the finest in the land.

We guess they know good stuff when they find it.
