Room for Tent

If it seems like you’re always doing laundry, it’s because you are. If it’s not their grass-stained soccer uniforms, it’s the sheets they’ve commandeered to build Fort Family Room.

Instead, give them a Hippie Tipi tent from Vessel and they’ll leave your linens alone. The high-quality cotton canvas tent comes in bright stripes and stands about five and a half feet tall. Wooden poles make up the frame. It’s even machine washable, so they can take it outside and not worry about getting it dirty.

Of course, that puts you right back where you started: the laundry room.

Available at Vessel, 125 Kingston Street, Downtown Crossing (617-292-0982); 652 Tremont Street, South End (617-425-5292 or vessel.com).
