Delicious coffee, great music, and food you want to eat aren’t usually found together in one spot you actually want to frequent.
But now, after a four-year hiatus, Cafe Cláve gives you a reason to leave your neighborhood and head west.
Armen “Gooch” Terzian’s place offers kick-ass, locally ground Torreo coffee, tapas (pastelitos de carne, empanadas), and Spanish and Cuban pastries (flan, pasteles de guayaba). The musician/owner is screening bands for open-mic nights, so you’ll be listening to something good, not some whiny dude. Hell, Terzian may even play salsa, Latin jazz, or percussion himself.
The cafe is spacious, all mellow oranges and blues. It’s a nice place to hang out, work, or do whatever you do.
Plenty of good reasons for getting your buzz on.
