Home Away from Home

We know how it feels to want to hide.

Alison Two just opened in Fort Washington. Probably to satisfy city dwellers’ need to get the ef outta Dodge.

Alison Barshak’s cobalt, brown, and yellow restaurant has iron gates separating bar and dining room. Velvet curtains cordon off the living room, a space with leather chaises for private gatherings.

The world won’t watch you cram the lamb chop with chick pea puree in your piehole. Or scarf down tuna cha ca with rice noodles and Asian greens. Sip classic cocktails or try the Jamaica daiquiri. Beer snobs will love rare draughts and bottles.

Live close? Become a regular and lease a wine locker to store your hooch.

Because we also know how it feels to want to drown your sorrows.
