In your fantasy world, Tim Gunn lives in a tent in your closet. And Rachel Zoe’s lifetime goal is to make you look bananas.
Ease back to reality with TwentyThirtyForty.net, a new Chicago-based site that’s part online boutique, part professional stylist.
Dreamed up by a pair of former fashion buyers, the site stocks covetable lines like Demy Lee, Loeffler Randall, and Gryson — and includes on-point styling options for each item.
Not sure how you’d wear the silk Mason halter? You’ll die when it’s paired with a motorcycle jacket, skinny jeans, and boots (or with a ribbed tank, high-waisted skirt, and asymmetrical pumps for full-on witch vibes). And you’ll shut it down in Opening Ceremony’s sunburst pleated frock (total hero dress).
More features such as a Q&A section and fashion essays are still in their nascent stages.
But they’ll make it work.
Available online at twentythirtyforty.net.
