For these boots, which we someday hope to receive.

Though we sing the praises of all your creatures (great and slouchy), we know perfection when we see it. And for L.A.-based designer Anouk Krueger, we rejoice and give thanks.

Hallowed be she who created everything we want in a pair of shoes. They’re equestrian inspired — a cross between English and Western disciplines — with leather soles and a slight heel that’s stacked and filed by hand. They can be worn high, scrunched, or folded over — since the Italian suede is almost blasphemously soft.

Your mercy knows no bounds, as future collections are giving a portion of profits to Return to Freedom, a Mustang preserve in California.

Glory, glory, hallelujah.
