Sketchy Behavior

Watching him cry ’til he’s blue in the face or catching him red-handed: You’ve uncovered his true colors.

Luckily, artist Rosemary Markowski has a better way to capture them.

Commission her to paint an oil portrait of your little one and she’ll spend a few hours with him in the setting of your choice — sketching and snapping photos for reference. A mom herself, she’s a pro at moving quickly and wraps it up before the fidgets set in.

Next, Markowski lays out the composition and checks in with you, so you can see the painting evolve.

Your reaction when she turns over the final piece?

Tickled pink, of course.
