We have a problem. Though we’re obsessed with vintage, we can’t always cram our ginormous modern selves into bygone-era sizes. (Maybe you can relate?)
So imagine our thrill when we found a limited run of gloves from the ’70s made by the owner of Maitresse, a specialty shop that sold gloves, corsets, and girdles. His widow just consigned the last 38 pairs of buttery-smooth leather hand warmers in light and dark brown, black, oxblood, and red.
Wear the opera length scrunched at the forearm (the dainty, buttoned wrists make them easier to get on). The elbow length is perfect under a light three-quarter-sleeve coat. And the driving gloves are great all around.
The best part: They come in a variety of sizes.
So they’ll fit like a, well, you know.
