If this weather has anything to do with it, your hair is a frizzy mess.
Clip that shit.
No, don’t cut it (though that may be an option); grab one of Aylin Green’s barrettes instead.
Known for her curious mixed-media artwork, the Lambertville-based artist makes a foray into the hair accessories biz with creative clips.
Originally fashioned from buttons she got from her mother-in-law, the hair baubles are now made of jumbles of repurposed materials left on her porch in tins, boxes, and paper bags. (Obviously, other people want her to keep making these pretty little things, too.)
Snag a few Friday at the closing of her show at Bambi’s new location.
And leave hair-raising experiences in the dust.
Available at Bambi Gallery, 1001-13 North Second Street, the Piazza at Schmidts (bambiproject.com); by e-mail order (aylinart@gmail.com). Closing show, 6-10 p.m.
