Laaaadies aaand gentlemen! Step right up and delight in a debaucherous tale.
Behold the amusing, the amazing, the astounding Cabaret Filet.
The ostentatious, one-time performance takes place tomorrow, and you’ll want to make no other plans. It features Jor Kane as the unlucky Gerry — a blue-skinned anomaly whose mother died in childbirth, was deserted by his father, and was raised in a shed — and Anna Matijasic as Seamus, the evangelical card dealer emcee who traded in his Cadillac for a money-making scheme.
Add the musical stylings of the Minions Mignon, made up of talent from Trained Attack Dogs and Austinado, with the special effects wizardry of Dean Rys. They’ll be playing everything from Hoagie Carmichael and Shocking Blue to Brian Eno.
It’s not for polite company.
But even better than a girl with fourteen nipples.
Cabaret Filet, Tuesday, 9 p.m., at Johnny Brenda’s, 1201 Frankford Avenue (215-739-9684 or johnnybrendas.com).
