You know how it goes: You’re sporting either some uncomfortable mesh lace skankiness or busted-up Hanes Her Way.
In the war between you and your underwear, no one’s a winner.
Except perhaps Glassboro-based designer Michele Notarianni’s debut collection of custom underthings, Notari.
The Moore student designs feminine unmentionables that fit you to a tee. They’re all made to order: E-mail her and she’ll send you a form showing you where to measure. Then she constructs every piece from hand-dyed silk charmeuse. The results are sexy without a hint of strumpet.
We’re partial to the onesie with a low V-neck. Bras and panties are based on vintage designs and have subtle stretch. Short kimono robes with hand-painted gold details are simply perfect. As for colors, they’re unabashedly bright and happy: sunny yellows, chartreuse, peony pink.
And pretty enough to come out on top.
