No one ever said she wanted to be a junkie when she grew up. Except you.

Kate Carrara of Buttercream Philadelphia’s got your hookup. She’s taken mobile food to a new level with her ’80s-era mail truck that looks like a cupcake and peddles chocolate, vanilla, pumpkin, and banana confections with freshly whipped Ghirardelli chocolate ganache or regular buttercream icing.

Follow her on Twitter for routes and cupcake specialties. Starting today, she’ll be at Sparkle Plenty Designs at noon, then five other locations throughout the city. Or catch her at 5 p.m. tomorrow at the Cupcake Bandit Film Festival at Jefferson Square Park.
