The Studio C.L. & Workshop Salon Opens

In general, sequels blow. (See: Return to the Blue Lagoon, The Next Karate Kid, or Porky’s II).

But here’s one we’re not going to miss: Workshop, The Studio C.L.’s part two, open now next to its big sister.

Stylists are trained to give owner Artur Kirsh’s signature dry cuts with Terax, Lanza, and Alterna products. But the similarities stop there. Instead of echoing the sleek and minimal C.L., the space is eclectic and bohemian, with seven chairs, a nail technician, and a makeup artist.

The best part? Workshop caters to a younger, hipper clientele on a budget with services at a fraction of C.L.’s prices (blowouts start at $30, highlights at $65).

Making it a total original.
